Presentation Slides

The four MPG Family Reunion Briefings are:

1.    Confronting stereo-types, understanding family life

2.    Right to family reunion - the dynamics between EU law and national policy change plus Annexes 1 and 2

3.    Impact of new family reunion tests and requirements on the integration process

4.    Restrictions 'in name of integration' separate families in practice

You can download them as one document, or as separate files from this link

You can also find a series of MIPEX blog posts on Family Reunion by clicking here.

Finally, I would like to thank the European Network of Migrant Women and the European Women's Lobby for letting us know that they used the MPG Briefings and MIPEX data in their lobbying kit on the right to family reunification and accompanying video clips.  The Lobbying Kit provides useful background information, and it offers several tools to effective lobbying for EU family reunification policies that uphold the rights and meet needs of migrant women.

If any other organisations are using the briefings or MIPEX data please do let me know and we will feature them on the MIPEX website.

Kind regards,

Emilie
